Float Packages Include:

Professional Float : Includes professional float and driver, name on above printed items (except tickets), beads for tossing to the crowd. Includes 20 tickets to the VIP party in the civic center on Saturday night (which also includes admission to the Mardi Gras)

Personal Floats: Position in parade with personal float ,12 GA ticket and beads for tossing to the crowd.

Non-Profit Float: 4 GA tickets. Includes a personal float in the parade . Must submit and have approved non-profit float application. Non-profit floats can purchase 1 case of beads for $50.

State law requires each operator of a towing vehicle be responsible for seeing that their trailer is property secured and safety
chains are provided (Florida Statute 316.530).
Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement

In exchange for the right to participate in the Space Coast Mardi Gras Parade ("The Parade"), the undersigned,
a duly authorized representative of __________________, an organization participating in the Parade ("The Organization")
as condition to participate in the Space Coast Mardi Gras Parade, held on Feb 27th 2010 to:

  1. OBEY ALL INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY PARADE OFFICIALS, MARSHALLS AND THE CITY OF COCOA POLICE DEPARTMENT.
  2. OBEY ALL LAWS FOR THE PROPER OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
    NO DRINKING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR BEING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MIND ALTERING SUBSTANCES;
  3. BE AT THE ASSEMBLY POINT NO LATER THAN 5:00 P.M. Feb 27th 2010
We understand and agree that if we do not comply with the rules of the parade, and the instructions given to us by parade marshals, officials, or the
city of Cocoa Police Department, our participation in the parade will be terminated and we are not permitted to continue in the parade.
The city of Cocoa and Cocoa Main Street reserves the right to deny any application.
Once the application has been approved the undersigned agrees there will be no refund of parade fees for any reason.
Furthermore, in exchange for the right to participate in the Space Coast Mardi Gras ("The Parade"), the undersigned, a duly authorized
representative of,________________________________, an organization participating in the Parade (the"Organization") agrees to
indemnify and hold harmless the city of Cocoa, Cocoa Main Street, and
related entities, all agents, employee and volunteers of solid organizations from any claim or expense of whatever
kind or nature arising out of activities as a parade participant of the undersigned Organization and any of its
representatives or individual participants. This indemnification and hold harmless
agreement shall be governed in all respects under the laws of the State of Florida.
